Maintenance FitterOur client in the automotive manufacturing industry is seeking a Qualified Artisan Fitter to join their team.Job Location: Port Elizabeth/GqeberhaJob Type: PermanentDuties and Responsibilities:

Carry out maintenance functions to ensure that the machines and factory remain well looked after
Maintenance checks on chillers, cooling towers and compressor
Repairs, maintenance alterations when required or requested
Welding and fabrication of new equipment and machinery
Documented weekly checklists to be filled in
Comply with PPE requirements
Report any detected health and safety concerns immediately
Factory running efficiently and effectively because of a highly maintained factory
Continuously try to seek out methods to help preventative maintenance be a solution to root

Minimum Requirements:

Qualified Fitter (Red Seal/ Trade Test)
Minimum 3-5 years post qualification experience
Experience in a maintenance environment within a manufacturing company
Experience in steel fabrication and sketch up own design
Arc welding experience
Ability to work as part of a team as well as individually
Hydraulic experienced (Read and interpret drawings)
Injection moulding experience advantageous
