IT Strategy/Plan
- Develop and implement strategic and business plan for the IT department.
- Maintain information technology plan by researching and implementing technological solutions.
- Monitor organization's effectiveness and efficiency by supporting business.
- Directs technological research into assisting company to achieve its goals, practices, and end user projects.
- Verifies application results by conducting system audits of technologies implemented.
- Improve processes and policies to ensure that challenges and needs of the business are met.
- Maintain continuous Network support to ensure efficiency in the business.

- Monitor adherence to processes to ensure compliance.

- Data and voice patch cabinets, always ensuring client data and voice connectivity.
- Ensure network availability at all times as per business requirements to ensure productivity is not affected and also to prevent loss of time due to unavailability of the network.
- Network and information security to ensure confidentiality.
- Manage company IT assets/equipment to minimize financial loss to company.
- Sound Knowledge of various Windows operating systems.
- Patch management for clients pcâs.
- Effective Desktop, laptop and end user support (+/- 200 Clients).
- Remote Support to Branch offices.
- Manage the range of printers.
- Planning, implementation and management of the various types of network printers and their accessories.
- Manage service calls with suppliers.
- Operating systems and interface with the printers.
- Managing the print server and print monitoring software.
- Managing the Symantec secondary server.
- Manage all Cisco switches, routers and Access Points.
- Web based mail systems.
- Manage e-mail accounts, which are requested via above system.
- Correspond with Europe Information Centre (EIC), via Company call logging system (E-spoc), for support on email and networks.
- Manage clients Microsoft 365.
- Effective operating system, patch management.
- Regular backup for servers.
- Processing of all invoices (Data lines, all printers, all hardware installations) and making sure all the books is clean.
- Doing all stock inventory of laptops, desktops, LCD screens and maintaining the system itâs all on.
- Working with all encryption related issues and supporting the software and maintaining the Waterwall server, from server to user to support from Overseas HQ.
- Perform and manage bi-annual Asset count using TAMS system.
- Loading ITMS hardware /software request of IT equipment in a cost effective manner for authorization.
- Monitor and ensure payment of invoices is done on due dates.
- Outlook migration from EP mail to Outlook 365.
- Local PC to Cloud PC migration.
- Network infrastructure upgrade.
- ERP migration to SAP.
- Follow the GSI HQ manual and update the GSI portal monthly for the following categories:
- Security Management
- Technology Security
- Personal Information
- Physical security
- Min. 4 - 7yrs experience working in IT related field
- Experience and knowledge of IT procedures
- Good understanding of networks and servers etc.
- Knowledge of the following related systems: A+,N+,MS Office â Basic to Advanced, MCSE / MCITP
- 2 x Regional Trips yearly if required.
- 2 x International trips yearly if required.
