Minimum Requirements
  • A Masters Degree in Nursing
  • A qualification in Nursing Education
  • A qualification in Nursing Management
  • 3 years' experience as a Nurse
  • 1 - year experience working in a higher education
  • Registration with SANC as a Nurse Manager, General Nurse, Midwife, Nurse Educator
  • Assessor and Moderator
  • Code 8 driver's license
Additional Recommendation
  • Understanding of tertiary institution imperatives g. SAQA NQF and current trends in the SA context
  • Experience in research will be an added advantage
  • Computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Internet use
  • Preference will be given to candidates that are registered for PhD
  • Other specialties will be an advantage Primary Care Nursing / Occupational Health Nursing/Pharmacology
