You’ll play a central role in ensuring production flows smoothly, dispatch is efficient, and sales operations are tightly managed—all while leading a capable, cross-functional team.Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Planning & Stock ControlOversee production planning for multiple departments, ensuring timely output and inventory alignment.Coordinate material requirements and monitor raw material and finished goods stock levels.Plan around downtime or maintenance by communicating closely with production and maintenance teams.Own all planning spreadsheets and tools, ensuring accuracy and automation where possible.Dispatch & LogisticsManage the dispatch team to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment.Monitor logistics processes and collaborate on improvements to meet customer expectations.Oversee NCRs, delivery documentation, and stock order closures.Sales & Customer OperationsLead and support the sales team with pricing, quoting, and customer communication.Ensure accurate product coding, BOMs, and pricing data across systems.Improve training materials, support CRM evaluations, and drive consistent sales admin processes.Act as a point of escalation for customer complaints and ensure preventative follow-up.Stock Takes & ReportingLead weekly and bi-monthly stock counts, ensuring discrepancies are analysed and reported.Suggest and implement improvements in stock control processes.Reconcile inventory records and submit variance reports with analytical insights.New Products & PricingCoordinate product development workflows, including tooling, sample management, and costing.Maintain and update registers for new products, pricing, warehouses, and slow-moving stock.RequirementsMatric8+ years in production planning and stock management in a manufacturing environment.Proven team leadership experience (min 5 years).Strong analytical mindset with advanced Excel skills.Experience with BOMs and product costing (minimum 2 years).Excellent verbal and written communication.Highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented.Confident managing multiple priorities and departments.Familiarity with Sage (Pastel), Sage Intelligence Reporting, and MS Office.Sales or sales admin background is advantageous.BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experience and role scope.Work within a dynamic, high-performance, high-volume environment with meaningful cross-functional impact.Opportunity to shape and streamline processes across planning, sales, and dispatch.How to ApplyIf you're ready to lead a vital operational team and bring clarity to complexity, we’d love to hear from you.
