Job SummaryAn exciting opportunity has opened up at a leading international manufacturing company for a Regulatory and Compliance Specialist to join their Operations Division in Hammarsdale.This is a dynamic, fast-paced environment where attention to detail and a proactive approach are key. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with laws and regulations related to the production and sale of chemical products.Key Responsibilities:Ensure products are developed, manufactured, and distributed in compliance with regulatory requirementsManage and conduct internal and external compliance audits aligned to registrations, legal, and corporate standardsOversee regulatory documentation systems, including SDS, labels, and tremcardsCoordinate compliance activities across departments and facilitate risk management interventionsDevelop and enforce regulatory compliance policies, procedures, and trainingMonitor regulatory changes locally and internationally, ensuring business alignmentSupport POPIA compliance and contribute to continuous improvement initiativesManage incident and non-conformance reporting related to regulatory mattersCommunicate effectively with internal and external stakeholdersMinimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Regulatory, Compliance, Risk, Chemistry, or Engineering (BSc or BTech accepted)Minimum 5 years' experience in a regulatory compliance role within a chemical or process manufacturing environmentStrong knowledge of South African regulatory frameworks, audits, GHS, SDS development, and POPIA compliance
