We are seeking a passionate and creative Pastry CDP to join our dynamic kitchen team at a luxury property near Simonstown. This is an opportunity to bring your flair for patisserie to life in a setting that values quality, innovation, and attention to detail.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods to the highest standard.
- Assist in menu development with fresh, creative ideas.
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portioning.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the pastry section, upholding strict hygiene standards.
- Support the Head Pastry Chef and collaborate with the wider kitchen team.
- Manage stock rotation, ingredient preparation, and daily mise-en-place.
- Train and mentor junior staff when required.
