Our client is on the lookout for a dynamic Raw Materials Stores Controller to take charge of their raw material warehouse operations and ensure everything flows seamlessly from goods-in to production.Key Responsibilities:
- Taking full ownership of raw material warehouse operations from receipt, storage, and movement of stock to production.
- Leading and motivating warehouse staff to keep everything ticking along efficiently.
- Optimising warehouse space by ensuring raw materials are well organised and stored safely.
- Managing chemical and hazardous material compliance with strict attention to safety.
- Keeping a close eye on cycle counts, investigating variances, and driving improvement initiatives.
- Handling consumable orders and inventory control to keep production running without a hitch.
- Monitoring store dashboards, stock analyses, and monthly reconciliations.
- Supporting system training (Syspro) and ensuring smooth digital processes.
- Overseeing forklifts, lifting equipment, and warehouse safety standards.
- Bridging the gap between procurement, stores, and production to keep communication and workflow strong.
- Degree/National Diploma in Supply Chain or Warehouse Management.
- Minimum 3 years in a similar role.
- Experience handling chemical and hazardous material.
- Confident with MS Office and Syspro.
- A strong leader with excellent organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
