Overview:Our client is a GFSC-regulated investment management firm specializing in setting up and managing Guernsey-domiciled investment management companies (“ICs”). They currently manage 11 separate ICs, each appointed as an Investment Manager or Investment Advisor to a variety of funds, including Cayman hedge funds, Delaware hedge funds, Guernsey long-only funds, and segregated portfolios across the UK, US, Canada, and Norway. The role involves supporting the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Finance Manager with the day-to-day accounts of the ICs.Responsibilities:· Assist with the creation of the ICs quarterly management accounts· Assist with the annual audit of the ICs· Prepare and process invoices· Load online bank payments· Review and check all payments· Bank imports, allocation and adjustments· Bank recon (general accounts, debit card and petty cash)· Debtors and creditors recons and following up on receipts· Monitor compliance reports received· Monthly cashflow recons for fundsRequirements:· Minimum of five years’ experience· Accounting qualification required· Experience in the financial services sector· Flexibility to handle a variety of tasks in a small company environment· Strong problem-solving skills to address new challenges and projects regularly
