Analyse scope of work and ensure that each project meets contractual expectations and is carried out to conform to quality and safety standards • Ensure all specifications from clients are recorded and communicated • Monitor projects to ensure timely delivery while maintaining high standards and cost effectiveness • Co-ordinate with various departments and sub-contractors to achieve targets in line with project plan • Perform project cost control and scheduling on ERP-system • Ensure accurate and timeous completion and submission of all invoices • Ensure that all legal requirements are adhered to • Oversee and assist with project estimation • Maintain good relations, interact and negotiate with local Port Authorities, Clients and Agents • Maintain and update current Client and Agent database • Pursue new business and secure tenders • Control of branch stock & assets • Reporting on branch work-in-progress as well as performanceREQUIREMENTS • Relevant technical qualification • 5 years Supervisory and/or Project Management experience within a Ship Repair environment • Candidate must be willing to travel both locally and offshore at short notice • Candidate must be willing and able to work independently • Excellent verbal & written communication skills • High level of regard towards customer services • Good working knowledge of IACS regulations • Organisational, co-ordination and negotiation skills essential
