Are you a driven, detail-focused finance professional ready to take the next step in your career? We’re looking for an energetic and motivated Financial Accountant to join our finance team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you’ll be responsible for producing accurate, valid, and complete financial reporting, while ensuring compliance with statutory and tax obligations across multiple regions. This is an exciting opportunity to gain exposure to a dynamic, multinational environment and contribute to process improvement and growth initiatives.Overseeing and reviewing bank reconciliations prepared by bookkeepers
Ensuring all transactions processed in the general ledger are accurate and complete
Preparing month-end financial packs and balance sheet reconciliations for review
Drafting accurate journals and reconciling with third-party partners
Supporting tax submissions in collaboration with the Group Tax team.
Assisting with year-end audits, including drafting statutory financial statements
Preparing statutory and regulatory returns as required
Driving finance improvement projects, including system implementations and efficiency initiatives
Liaising with other departments to resolve commercial issuesSkills & Experience:
Advanced time management, organisational, and MS Office skills (essential).
Finance business systems experience (ERP platforms, ideally Netsuite).
Experience preparing VAT and Corporate Tax returns (advantageous).
Exposure to multinational group structures, especially across Africa or the UK.
Financial services or highly regulated industry background (preferable).
Experience in high-growth, fast-paced organisations (advantageous).
Strong commercial acumen and ability to connect finance to value creation.
A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to work under pressure.
Passion for continuous improvement, efficiency, and innovation.Qualification:
CA (SA) (essential).
