A growing manufacturing business is looking for a hands-on, detail-focused Accountant to join their finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a structured environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is passionate about financial integrity and process improvement.About the role:You'll work closely with the Group Financial Manager to manage core accounting functions, ensure compliance with statutory requirements, and support the business with accurate reporting and audit readiness. Your efforts will play a key role in financial controls and continuous improvement across the business.What you'll be doing:

Managing bookkeeping and general ledger functions, including debtors and creditors
Preparing monthly bank reconciliations, journal entries, and statutory returns
Assisting with management accounts, budgets, and variance reporting
Supporting external audits and ensuring financial systems are accurate and compliant
Overseeing payroll processing and assisting with SARS submissions
Monitoring stock count processes and factory shop audits

What we're looking for:

BCom in Accounting or similar qualification (SAIPA Candidate ideal)
3-5 years' experience in a full-function accounting role (post-articles preferred)
Experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment is a strong advantage
