We’re looking for a Senior Accountant who’s not just balancing numbers but shaping the future of a high-energy industry.As the Senior Accountant, your duties and responsibilities include the following:
Take ownership of the end-to-end accounting function across a diverse group of companies
Deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results with precision and insight
Oversee bank, ledger, and intercompany reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and transparency
Review and sign off on supplier reconciliations, driving timely and efficient payments
Manage cash drawdowns and provide clear, actionable cashflow reporting to stakeholders
Lead smooth and efficient month-end and year-end closes
Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning
Ensure strict compliance with IFRS, tax regulations, and internal policies
Prepare high-quality reports and schedules to support internal and external audits
Guide, support, and mentor junior team members to build capability and performance
Maintain and manage the fixed asset register and depreciation schedules
Champion process improvements, system enhancements, and automation initiatives to strengthen internal controlsSkills & Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience
Strong knowledge when it comes to IFRS Standards
Proficiency in Navision and Oracle
Experience in FMCG, Manufacturing, Construction or Logistics industry
Multi-currency experience would be highly beneficialQualification:
Registered with CIMA, SAICA, or SAIPA
