Role Purpose:
Responsible to drive sales staff, strategies, plans, and schedules to achieve agreed targets in line with country objectives. Constantly assess and act on local market opportunities and coordinate/manage the local sales team effectively in order to grow revenue within the assigned territories. Also responsible to engage, motivate, and lead the local sales team according to company values and standards.Key Responsibilities:Drive the local sales team to grow the Shipments Per Day (SPD) figures according to local/country objectives.Strategically plan and execute best sales practices to continuously grow revenue within the respective territory.Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Operations teams to maximise sales and revenue growth within the territory.Continuously drive, guide, and coach the local sales team on achieving individual KPIs.Monitor KPIs of the local sales team monthly and take remedial action for continuous shortfalls.Identify and initiate changes in KPI priorities as per local business objectives.Conduct two coaching sessions per team member every month.Assist and partake in local talent management initiatives to develop the sales team.Guide and counsel staff to maintain high levels of employee engagement and motivation.Assist with planning, organising, and facilitating formal training programmes (e.g., CIS Sales).Train and coach staff on the local Annual Sales Priorities.Manage and drive the local sales team to achieve the local Annual Sales Priorities objectives.Handle escalated queries and customer complaints courteously and promptly.Draft and provide ad-hoc business plans, reports, and information sheets as required by management or customers.Qualifications - External:BCom or relevant qualification.Minimum of 6-8 years experience in field sales.Minimum of 3 years management experience.Valid drivers license.Previous courier experience advantageous.Knowledge of international trade business.
