We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Facilities Administrator to support the daily operations and administrative functions of our facilities department. The Facilities Administrator will assist in coordinating maintenance requests, managing vendor contracts, tracking expenses, and ensuring the smooth running of building services and workplace facilities.Key Responsibilities:Provide administrative support to the facilities or property management teamSchedule and coordinate maintenance, repairs, and service requestsMaintain and update records of service providers, contractors, and compliance documentsMonitor office and building supplies and reorder as neededAssist in managing facility budgets, invoices, and petty cashSupport with health and safety compliance (e.g. fire drills, access control records)Track and log facility-related issues and follow up until resolutionAssist in planning and coordinating office moves, furniture setup, and equipment servicingEnsure proper documentation of facilities activities, maintenance schedules, and asset logsLiaise with internal departments and external service providersRequirements:Education:Grade 12 (Matric) requiredA certificate or diploma in Office Administration, Facilities Management, or related field is advantageousExperience:1–3 years experience in administration, preferably within facilities, property, or office managementFamiliarity with building operations or maintenance coordination is a plusSkills & Competencies:Strong administrative and organizational skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsGood knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Ability to multitask and work under pressureAttention to detail and problem-solving abilitiesBasic understanding of facility systems (aircon, lighting, access control) is helpfulOther Requirements:Professional, reliable, and customer-service orientedAble to handle confidential information with integrityWillingness to work flexible hours if requiredThe post appeared first on .
