Job Summary Industrial Relations Consultant Location: Cape Town (Hybrid) Are you passionate about labour relations and ready to make a real impact? A dynamic HR consulting firm is looking for a proactive and skilled Industrial Relations Consultant to join their Cape Town team. In this role, you'll deliver the full spectrum of labour relations advisory services across a diverse client base. You'll work hands-on with clients, advising, representing, and guiding them through complex labour matters. Key Responsibilities: • Provide expert advice on labour relations issues, including disciplinary actions, grievances, and compliance. • Represent clients at CCMA and Bargaining Councils. • Conduct investigations and chair hearings. • Draft employment contracts, policies, and procedures. • Design and deliver industrial relations training programmes. • Stay current with labour legislation and ensure alignment with best practices. • Conduct audits and prepare strategic reports and risk mitigation plans. • Support sales initiatives with IR expertise and client interactions. Minimum Requirements: • A degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, LLB, or a related field. • At least 3 years' relevant IR experience. • Strong knowledge of labour legislation and CCMA/Bargaining Council procedures. • Experience in drafting contracts, chairing hearings, and handling dismissals. • Proficiency in MS Office; fluency in English and Afrikaans.
