This is an exciting opportunity for a driven Engineer with a passion for mechanical systems, survivability engineering, and robust vehicle design.Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical systems for armored vehicles (hulls, suspension, drivetrain integration, structural components, etc.)
- Perform 3D CAD modeling (SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar)
- Conduct structural analysis (FEA and ballistic impact considerations)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Electrical, Ballistic Protection, and Systems Engineers
- Support prototype builds, testing, and field evaluations
- Prepare technical documentation, BOMs, and compliance reports
- Ensure compliance with defense/military standards (e.g., STANAG and MIL-STD)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in vehicle or heavy equipment design (armored vehicles preferred)
- Proficient in CAD software (SolidWorks, Siemens NX, CATIA, etc.)
- Understanding of armor systems, blast/ballistic protection, and mobility integration
- Familiarity with defense industry standards and certifications
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive design mindset
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
