Junior Quantity Surveyor - Built Environment

- Collaborate in the preparation of tender and contract documentation, including bills of quantities.
- Perform quantity take-offs and cost estimations for construction projects.
- Analyse project drawings and specifications to identify potential cost-saving opportunities and risks.
- Work closely with project teams to monitor project progress and assess cost variances.
- Assist in the preparation and assessment of variations and change orders.
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain quotes and negotiate prices.
- Maintain accurate records of project costs and associated documentation.
- Participate in site visits and inspections as required.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices in quantity surveying.
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Possess a minimum of 1-5 years of experience in the built environment.
- Proficient in Candy CCS software.
- Possess a valid driver's license and own reliable transportation, with a willingness to travel to project sites.
- Strong analytical and mathematical aptitude.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and BuildSmart.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with construction methods, materials, and processes is advantageous.
- Previous experience or internships within quantity surveying or the construction industry are preferred.
- Salary: Market Related.
