Junior Quantity Surveyor - Built Environment

- Assist in preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
- Conduct quantity take-offs and cost estimates for construction projects.
- Analyse project drawings and specifications to identify potential cost-saving opportunities and risks.
- Collaborate with project teams to monitor project progress and cost variances.
- Assist in preparing and evaluating variations and change orders.
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain quotes and negotiate prices.
- Maintain accurate records of project costs and documentation.
- Participate in site visits and inspections as required.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices in quantity surveying.
- Bachelors degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying or related field.
- A minimum of 1-5 years of experience in a the built environment.
- Proficient on Candy CCS.
- Must have a valid drivers licence with your own reliable transport and be prepared to travel to project locations.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and BuildSmart.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and processes is desirable.
- Previous experience or internships in quantity surveying or construction industry is an advantage.
