Your eye for detail, hunger for excellence, and ability to guide and support others will directly contribute to the success of your branch and the bigger VKB family.What Youll Be Doing
- Safeguarding the branch by verifying internal controls (inventory, claims, returns, shipments) and reconciling financial transactions.
- Ensuring compliance with VKBs policies, legislation, and reporting standards.
- Conducting inventory surveys, addressing audit findings, and implementing risk-reduction plans.
- Supporting high administrative standards through inspections and monthly risk reporting.
- Providing guidance to retail staff to ensure excellent customer service and timely query resolution.
- Collaborating with internal departments (HR, Finance, Audit, Procurement) to build strong cross-functional relationships.
- Overseeing critical admin tasks: petty cash, bank reconciliations, vouchers, and stock claims.
- Mentoring and guiding team members to grow in their roles.
- Grade 12 or NQF4 qualification.
- At least 4 years experience in a similar administrative role.
- Experience in the agriculture industry will be an advantage.
- Computer literacy, especially MS Word & Excel.
- Strong numerical and reconciliation skills.
- A person who is thorough, precise, accurate but also approachable and supportive.
- Someone who can balance detail with people helping others while safeguarding operational excellence.
- Bilingual in Afrikaans and English will serve as an advantage.
