A reputable food manufacturing company is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Food Safety Co-Ordinator to ensure compliance with all food safety and quality standards. The successful candidate will oversee the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of food safety systems.Key Responsibilities:Implement and maintain Food Safety Management Systems (HACCP, ISO 22000, etc.)Conduct internal audits, inspections, and risk assessmentsEnsure compliance with regulatory, customer, and certification requirementsTrain and support staff on food safety practices and hygieneManage non-conformances and implement corrective/preventive actionsMaintain accurate records and documentation for audits and inspectionsLiaise with production, QA, and external auditorsRequirements:Matric (Grade 12) + Qualification in Food Safety, Food Technology, or Quality ManagementMinimum 23 years' experience in a food manufacturing environmentSound knowledge of HACCP, GMP, ISO standards, and food safety legislationStrong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamComputer literate (MS Office, Excel, etc.)
