- Manage local and international tax compliance, including income tax, VAT, withholding taxes, dividends tax, carbon tax, and transfer pricing.
- Develop strategies to reduce global tax burden while ensuring legal compliance.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws in all regions, including tax returns, filings, and local requirements.
- Oversee transfer pricing analysis and provide advice on new business ventures.
- Handle local and international tax audits.
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual tax reporting, including deferred tax.
- Stay updated on tax laws and adjust strategies to minimize future liabilities.
- Advise management on tax impacts of business decisions.
- Liaise with tax authorities, consultants, and auditors.
- Prepare and submit R&D tax incentive applications and other financial incentives.
- Update tax policies and communicate changes to stakeholders.
- Manage and develop reporting staff.
- Undertake ad hoc projects as needed
- CA(SA) or SAIT accreditation is essential
- 5+ years post article experience in tax
- Strong knowledge of Tax Accounting, IFRS, Transfer Pricing and International Tax
- Problem solving skills and managerial experience.
