- Marketing and Sales Strategy development
- Development and execution of the overall Aftermarket strategy
- Key relationship maintained between Marketing, Operations and Principal Suppliers
- Facilitate key points within the S&OP process (Forecasting, marketing intelligence, trending etc.)
- Develop pricing strategy and grow POPS-C.
- Solution development for Mining customers
- Market current and new products to potential Southern African customers
- Negotiate special pricing on mining, parts, marketing strategies and after sales incentive schemes with Caterpillar.
- Manage NPI process for product support
- Review price disconnects to negotiate acceptable premiums and assist with closing deals
- Big deals lead and opportunity closure, lost sales insights
- Effective self-management and performance ownership.
- Market analysis and Segmentation of Product Solution Offerings
- Regional deep dives: action items, identify gaps by region or territory, and assist with execution of
- Engineering qualification (NQF L6 and above) / Advanced Caterpillar-certified earth-moving technician
- Additional Marketing/ Commercial qualification (advantageous)
- Product Support or Sales experience
- Minimum of five Years' experience in the equipment sales / management environment with solid product knowledge
- Managerial / Product knowledge / Business Acumen
- Understand Mining and Parts business
- Have sound Caterpillar Product Knowledge.
