Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Certified QA Engineer to play a crucial role in their software development lifecycle. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of their products through a blend of automated and manual testing strategies. Your expertise will be key in identifying issues, improving processes, and delivering a flawless user experience.Qualifications & Skills:
  • A certified QA professional (e.g., ISTQB Foundation Level, CSTE, or similar).
  • 3-4 years of proven experience in a software quality assurance role.
  • Solid experience in both automated and manual testing.
  • Strong proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and test plans.
  • Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Playwright, and Appium).
  • Experience with programming/scripting languages for automation (e.g., Java, Python, and JavaScript).
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Outstanding communication and collaboration skills.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases, test scripts, and test plans based on product requirements and technical specifications.
  • Perform thorough manual testing across various platforms (web, mobile, and desktop) to identify bugs, usability issues, and edge cases.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts to improve regression testing efficiency and coverage.
  • Document and track defects with clear and concise steps to reproduce, using bug tracking systems like Jira.
  • Collaborate closely with Software Developers, Product Managers, and Designers in an Agile/Scrum environment to ensure quality throughout the entire development process.
  • Participate in all phases of the SDLC, including requirement analysis, design reviews, and sprint planning.
  • Conduct regression testing, smoke testing, and performance testing as needed.
  • Continuously contribute to the improvement of QA processes, methodologies, and tools.
  • Create and maintain clear and detailed test case documentation and other QA-related artifacts.
Advantageous Qualifications:
  • Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
  • Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman and REST Assured).
  • Experience testing in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure, and GCP).
