A well-established company in the telecommunications industry is seeking a highly skilled Accountant (Stock) to join their finance team. In this role, youll be responsible for reconciling and managing financial risk relating to virtual airtime stock and online integrations between merchants and suppliers. This includes building and maintaining strong financial relationships, performing daily reconciliations, managing exceptions, and ensuring the integrity of accounting processes.As an Accountant (Stock), you will:

Perform daily stock and creditor reconciliations, escalating and resolving exceptions timeously.
Prepare journals, post invoices, and manage monthly supplier reconciliations.
Reconcile commissions, control accounts, and general ledger accounts (AP, AR, and stock).
Review ERP capturing controls and implement corrective measures.
Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies across warehouses.
Ensure compliance with inventory accounting standards and internal controls.
Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain effective communication and risk management.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

BCom Accounting / BCompt Degree (SAIPA registration advantageous).
Minimum 4 years accounting experience, preferably in stock or reconciliation roles.
Strong technical accounting skills with advanced MS Excel proficiency.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and high attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal skills for stakeholder and team management.
