A reputable glass processing company is looking for an experienced Production Manager with a strong background in managing large-scale manufacturing operations to join their team in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in supervising production teams, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. They should demonstrate strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and a solid understanding of modern manufacturing practices.Responsibilities:Lead and supervise production teams to ensure smooth shift operationsCoordinate resources to meet production targets and delivery timelinesOversee health, safety, and quality compliance on the production floorIdentify operational inefficiencies and implement process improvementsProvide coaching, mentorship, and performance management for team membersConduct shift handovers, production meetings, and reporting as requiredCollaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and maintain workflowSupport the implementation of continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiativesRequirements:Relevant diploma or degree in production, operations, or industrial managementProven experience in a production supervisory or managerial role within a manufacturing environmentStrong knowledge of safety and quality standards applicable to industrial settingsEffective leadership and communication skillsFamiliarity with modern production systems and performance tracking toolsWilling to relocate and available to start within a negotiable timeframeBenefits
