A well-established energy business operating in JHB central is seeking a Financial Manager to manage the full financial function and partner with leadership in a dynamic, high-volume energy business. This role is perfect for someone who thrives under pressure, takes ownership, and brings a solutions-driven mindset to complex challenges.Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Full Financial Management: Oversee accounting processes, reconciliations, and month-end close.
- Reporting & Analysis: Prepare management accounts, variance analysis, and assist with budgeting and forecasting.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to financial controls, tax regulations, and internal policies.
- Leadership & Support: Partner with operational teams to drive efficiencies and maintain accurate reporting.
- Audit Preparation: Manage audit readiness and liaise with external auditors.
- BCom Degree + Completed SAICA Articles
- Minimum 1 Year Post-Articles Experience
- Strong financial accounting knowledge and hands-on management ability
- Ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced environment
- Resilient, assertive personality with strong problem-solving skills
- Preference for candidates with their own transport (site-based role)
