TRONOX APPRENTICESHIP OPPORTUNITY FOR 2026Looking to grow your career?Join our extraordinary team at Tronox Namakwa Sands and take part in a 3-year Apprenticeship Programme blending both on-the-job off-the-job training, leading to qualification as a skilled artisan successful trade testing.THE FOLLOWING DISCIPLINES WILL BE CONSIDERED:Apprenticeships in the following Engineering Trades:

Rigger
Instrumentation Mechanician
Refractory Mason

WHAT WE OFFERS:

Learners will get incidental/sundry allowances according to Tronox standards.
Years 1–3: Combination of institutional training at an accredited training center and structured workplace training at Tronox Namakwa Sands.
After Year 3: Completion of trade test and artisan qualification.

WHAT YOU NEED TO QUALIFY:

Must be a South African citizen
Must reside within our municipality
Minimum educational qualification: Grade 12 (Maths and Science) certificate or equivalent
N2 Certificate with 4 relevant subjects.
Drivers License
Be able to acquire a certificate of fitness
Applicant must be between the ages of 18-35 years.

NOTE:

Applicants can only apply for one discipline.
Applicants should comply with the minimum entry requirements.
These opportunities are only available to South African citizens.
Nominated applicants will need to go through a selection process (including psychometric assessments, background screening, and medical examinations).
Successful candidates should be willing to be placed at any of Tronox Business Sites.
Applicants from the local communities surrounding the Namakwa Sands sites (Saldanha and Matzikama Municipalities) will be given preference.
