- A minimum of 2 years experience as a Safety Administrator in a mining environment
- MHSA related experience
- SAP experience (beginner)
- Microsoft office (Intermediate)
- Health & Safety Management Systems (Velocity/ Isometrix) HRSC
- Certifications:
- Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment (HIRA)
- First Aid Level 2
- Related HSE standards
- COIDA
- Plans with the team the annual training events and SHE key events.
- Plans period medicals for all branches / depots/ departments.
- Performs all specialised administrative functions for the team in the SHE department.
- Manages all compensation claim related activities.
- Ensure HSE contractors pack compliance.
- Assists with the administration of requirements for contractors on site (if applicable).
- Monitors attendance of incumbents identified for training and training facilitators.
- Reports on statistics (HSE report).
