Are you a numbers-driven professional with a passion for accuracy and efficiency? Our client, a leading FMCG manufacturer, is seeking a Factory Accountant to join their team and take ownership of financial integrity, stock control, and product costing at their busy Atlantis facility. Proven ability to work in a high-pressured environment essential.What You’ll Do:
âś… Safeguard the accuracy and integrity of financial data
âś… Manage inventory of finished goods, raw, and packaging materials
âś… Oversee monthly stock counts, investigate variances, and ensure up-to-date records on Sage Evolution
âś… Maintain and review BOM (Bill of Materials) costing and standards
âś… Analyse factory usage, waste, efficiencies, and profitability
âś… Support new product development with accurate costing and reporting
âś… Assist with audits, reconciliations, and ad hoc projects
What You Bring:
🎓 BComm in Accounting/Finance + Grade 12
📊 At least 3 years’ experience in an FMCG environment
đź’» Advanced Excel skills + solid knowledge of accounting principles
🗣️ Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
⚡ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing factory environment
