At RPO Recruitment, we are seeking a skilled Civil Design Engineer to join our client's team in the dynamic and fast-growing consulting industry. As a Civil Design Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and developing civil engineering designs for various projects, including roadways, water and sewage lines, drainage systems, and land grading. Your expertise and attention to detail will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of these designs.Working closely with project managers, engineers, and other design professionals, you will utilize your knowledge of industry standards and technical software, such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, to conceptualize and produce accurate and efficient design plans and profiles. Your ability to analyze complex engineering problems and recommend effective solutions will be essential in meeting project goals and client expectations.Responsibilities:

Collaborate with project teams to deliver high-quality civil engineering designs
Create and modify civil design plans and profiles using AutoCAD Civil 3D
Prepare engineering plans, drawings, and project documentation
Evaluate and resolve technical issues in collaboration with engineering discipline leads
Ensure compliance with project requirements, industry standards, and regulatory guidelines
Perform mathematical calculations and analysis required for design accuracy
Present and communicate design concepts and proposals to clients and stakeholders
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and innovative design solutions

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited program
Professional engineering license or eligibility for certification preferred
3-5 years of experience in civil engineering design, preferably in the consulting industry
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar design software
Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, practices, and industry standards
Ability to analyze and resolve engineering problems independently
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Experience with project management and coordination is a plus
