The upgrade of administrative facilities at the site, involving architectural, mechanical, firefighting, HVAC and electrical improvements carried out by two appointed principal contractors.Scope of Work:
The appointed Construction Manager will be responsible for the following duties:Project Coordination & Management
- Oversee daily site activities and liaise with principal contractors.
- Monitor and manage the project schedule to ensure timely delivery.
- Coordinate between contractors, suppliers, consultants, and the Client’s project team.
- Monitor quality of workmanship, equipment and materials.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and health & safety regulations.
- Verify and certify monthly progress and interim payment certificates.
- Validate quantities of materials and equipment delivered to site.
- Recommend payments based on actual work completed, equipment and materials on- site.
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly progress reports.
- Highlight delays, risks, and mitigation actions.
- Chair weekly site meetings and distribute minutes.
- Represent the Client on all project-related matters on site.
