Roll Shop Foreman

• Oversee operations of Roll Shop Machines
• Identify and report irregularities to the Production and Maintenance
• Up-dating of roll change register, roll history cards and Prepare Grinding loss reports
• Ensure quality control of rolls issued to production
• Repairing of damaged rolls
• Prepare and submit monthly Roll Shop technical reports
• Ensure calibration and maintenance are done on all roll shop equipment
• Adhere to safe work practice and good housekeeping

• Matric Certificate
• N3 / NQF4 Technical Qualification with production experience
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a first-level management role within a production environment
• Computer literate, proficient in Word, Excel, MS Project, and PowerPoint
• SAP Super User experience in Production Planning and Execution
• Ability to liaise effectively with suppliers and customers when required
