Requirements: Electronic and IT knowledge or experience Electro-mechanical Trade Test (e.g. MiPOSITION INFO:Requirements:Electronic and IT knowledge or experienceElectro-mechanical Trade Test (e.g. Millwright) or equivalentPLC and programming experience will be advantageousTechnical experience with industrial electricity and ITFully bilingual (Afrikaans & English)Valid driver’s licence and valid/renewable passportWilling to travel (mostly within South Africa; international travel occasionally required)Responsibilities:Install, train, and commission new machinery from start to finish, focusing on:IT: Wiring connectionsElectronics: Setup, testing, and trainingReduce minor stoppages and operational downtime by providing after-sales service:Electronic & IT assistance (software, hardware, OS)Electrical repairsAssist packhouses with machine adjustments for sorting various fruits and vegetables:Citrus, Avocado, Tomato, Blueberry, Cherry Apple, Stone Fruits, Mango, etc.Handle and follow up on customer queries and complaints; provide detailed feedback to improve technical solutionsPromote a "learn from experience" culture by sharing and reapplying technical knowledge within the teamRemuneration: Negotiable based on experience
