Requirements:Electronic and IT knowledge or experienceElectro-mechanical Trade Test (e.g. Millwright) or equivalentPLC and programming experience will be advantageousTechnical experience with regards to industrial electricity and ITFully bilingual (Afrikaans & English)Must have a valid drivers licence and a valid/renewable passportMust be willing to travel mostly in South Africa, but international travel will be required from time to timeResponsibilities:Installation, training, and commissioning of new machinery from inception to completion, focusing on:IT: Wiring connectionElectronics: Setting, testing, and trainingMinimize minor stoppages and time loss by providing after-sales service, focusing on:Electronic and IT assistance: Software, hardware, operating systemsElectrical repairsAssist packhouses in adjusting machines to sort various fruits and vegetables such as citrus, avocado, tomato, blueberry, cherry apple, stone fruits, and mangoAddress and follow up on customer queries and complaints; provide detailed feedback to the group for implementing technical solutionsPromote a "learn from experience" culture within the technical team by sharing and reapplying technical knowledge to improve team efficiencyRemuneration: To be negotiated based on experience
