Costing all the shipments accurately and on time. Collect and collate all shipping Agents invoices as well as statements for approval by departmental Manager before payment. Ensure Customs deferment statement is received from SARS on the day of payment as well as Customs Brokers recon to ensure timeous payment. Ensure billing accuracy as per the Mustek-Broker rate structure, request Credit Notes for incorrect invoicing. Process Insurance Claims on missing or pilfered cargo.Job Specification:

Cost the shipments accurately and on time
Collate and administer the Customs deferment statement to ensure payment on time
Ensure shipping Agent’s invoices are in at month end and tie up with the statement for timeous payment
Make sure import documents are complete and hand delivered to Finance to pay Suppliers on time
Process insurance claims on missing or pilfered cargo
Customs clearing instructions
Understand Customs tariffs and their application thereof
Continually optimize operations within the department i.e. costings, statement etc
Cross departmental communication regarding status of shipments
Drive inbound logistics efficiencies
Ad hoc administration functions

RequirementsMatric
National diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Trade will be added as advantage
