
Human Resource and Payroll Manager

- Lead and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Drive recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and retention initiatives.
- Oversee compensation, benefits, and employee development.
- Act as the primary liaison with unions and employee representatives, ensuring strong IR and compliance with labour laws.
- Manage grievance procedures, disciplinary processes, and dispute resolution.
- Promote diversity, inclusion, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Maintain HR systems (HRIS) and provide accurate reporting to leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field.
- 5+ years HR experience, with at least 2 years in a management role.
- Strong knowledge of labour laws, union relations, and dispute resolution.
- Advantageous: experience in the mining or motor industry, exposure to HR/IR across Botswana and Zambia.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office; SAGE 300 is a plus.
