Duties & ResponsibilitiesWorkshop Manager Job SummaryJob Summary:As a Workshop Manager, you will be the backbone of our operational success, overseeing the daily activities of our workshop to ensure efficiency, productivity, and quality output. Your role is critical in maintaining a well-organized and smoothly functioning workshop environment. You''ll be responsible for managing a team, optimizing workflows, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. * Workshop Manager Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead and motivate a team of technicians and support staff.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Develop and implement efficient workflow processes.
  • Ensure timely completion of projects and assignments.
  • Monitor and optimize resource allocation.
  • Implement and enforce quality control measures.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure work meets the highest standards.
  • Address and resolve any quality issues promptly.
  • Oversee inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
  • Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Work closely with the finance department to manage the workshop budget.
  • Identify cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
  • Enforce safety protocols and standards within the workshop.
  • Conduct regular safety training sessions for workshop staff.
  • Address and resolve any operational or personnel issues.
  • Implement preventive measures to avoid recurring problems.
  • Workshop Manager Requirements and Qualifications
  • Relevant Technical Qualifications and Experience on Heavy Duty Machinery
  • Proven experience with Weichai, XCMG, Rondebult, CAT, Powerstar, Howo equipment
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Familiarity with workshop equipment and processes.
  • Understanding of quality control and safety standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with other departments
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on efficiency.
  • Proven ability to analyse and solve operational challenges.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach.
  • Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software.
Desired Experience & QualificationExperience with Weichai, XCMG, Rondebult, CAT, Powerstar, Howo equipment
