Our client, a leading player in the logistics services industry, is looking for a highly skilled Senior Financial Manager to join their team on a 3-month contract, with a strong potential to transition into a permanent role.As the Senior Financial Manager, you’ll report directly to executive leadership and play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial health and strategy of the business. You’ll be hands-on, analytical, and commercially minded; someone who thrives on turning numbers into actionable insights and can confidently navigate the complexities of the logistics sector.This is not just a caretaker role – it's an opportunity to make a real impact, streamline financial processes, and support operational decision-making in a company that's continuously growing and evolving.Duties:

Lead and manage the full financial function, including month-end reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to executive leadership
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls
Collaborate with operations teams to drive financial efficiency and cost-saving initiatives
Manage working capital and oversee cash flow planning

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Qualifications:

Qualified Chartered Accountant CA(SA)
Minimum 5 years post-articles experience
Experience:

Extensive knowledge and proven experience within the logistics or supply chain industry
Strong understanding of financial systems and ERP platforms
