We are seeking a detail-driven and highly organised Stock Controller to join our team at a luxury hotel near Simonstown. This role is key to ensuring smooth operations behind the scenes and supporting the delivery of exceptional guest experiences.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage and control all stock movements across the hotel, including food, beverage, and housekeeping supplies.
- Conduct regular stock counts, reconciliations, and variance reports.
- Maintain accurate stock records and update systems promptly.
- Monitor stock levels to ensure availability while minimising wastage.
- Liaise with suppliers, handle deliveries, and check quality against purchase orders.
- Enforce strict stock rotation and ensure storage areas meet hygiene and safety standards.
- Work closely with department heads to forecast needs and manage budgets effectively.
