Senior Health & Safety Manager

• Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures in compliance with local and international regulations
• Provide leadership and guidance to the health and safety team
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address potential hazards and risks
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to health and safety
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
• Develop and deliver training programs to employees on health and safety topics
• Maintain accurate records and reports related to health and safety
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement safety initiatives
• Stay up-to-date with the latest health and safety regulations and industry best practices

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in health and safety management in the mining industry
• Experience in conducting detailed investigations.
• Experience in crisis management, emergency preparedness and response.
• Experience in conducting onsite health and safety inspections
• Strong knowledge of local and international health and safety regulations
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Professional certification in health and safety is preferred
