- Qualified Tool, Jig and Die Maker (Red Seal)
- N4 Mechanical Engineering
- 6+ years toolmaking experience in the plastic industry (injection mouding)
- Create, diagnose and resolve mould defects, maintenance and repairs
- CAD/CAM systems - Solidworks, Edgecam / Mastercam Experience
- CNC programming - Proficient on ECO and NPO
- Experience with precision measuring tools, micrometers, callipers, verniers, gauges and CMM's
- Design and fabricate jigs, fixtures and templates
- Manufacture complete moulds from engineering drawings through to part validation
- Understand and apply correct feed rates, spindle speeds and depth of cut to optimize CNC machining operations
- Operate and program EDM machines, full understanding of EDM process
- Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulic systems
