You will be responsible for the installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of conveyor and bulk materials handling systems. You will work across diverse sites, ensuring optimal performance of critical equipment used in mining, coal clearance, hard rock operations, and material handling terminals.Key Responsibilities
  • Service, maintain, and troubleshoot conveyor systems to ensure reliable operation.
  • Conduct inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Carry out installation and commissioning of conveyor systems.
  • Diagnose faults, perform mechanical adjustments, and complete component replacements.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients on-site.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Prepare accurate service reports and documentation.
What Were Looking For
  • 2 to 5 years experience working with following equipment:
  • Overland conveyors
  • Underground coal clearance systems (mobile, trunk, maingate conveyors)
  • Underground hard rock and soft rock conveyor systems
  • Surface stockpile and reclaim systems
  • Process plant conveyor systems
  • Export terminal conveyor systems
  • Relocatable conveyors
  • Strong mechanical aptitude for conveyor mechanical components, maintenance and repair skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Sound problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a field team.
  • Relevant trade qualification (Mechanical Fitter, Millwright, or equivalent).
  • Flexibility to travel and work on-site as required.
