Junior IT Technician

• Grade 12;
• Valid driver's license and own reliable vehicle;
• NQF4 IT qualification (Minimum requirement);
• Completed A+ and N+ through CompTIA (Compulsory);
• MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional) certification;
• ITIL certification is advantageous;
• 3 years' experience in the IT industry (Desktop & Server Support);
• Applicant must reside in Polokwane or surrounding area to be considered for the position. (Unless applicant is will to relocate)

• Desktop Hardware, Software (Microsoft Products) and Windows operating systems.
• Peripheral installations and fault diagnosis.
• Knowledge on Office 365.
• Testing PC's and components to determine or reproduce faults and repairing PCs.
• Install, check and maintain computer hardware such as PC's, printers, peripherals, hard drives, mouses and keyboards.
• Install, configure, and manage software and their functions according to specifications.
• Troubleshoot via email, phone or in person to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
• Maintain hardware and software inventor.
• Identify computer or network equipment shortages and place orders when necessary.
• Load, setup and customize software and hardware.
• Participate in customer IT projects.
• Compile a report on daily tasks.
• Monitor all service calls and resolve them timeously.
