- Previous experience as a Junior Contracts Foreman
- Conducting AMT’s, Inspections and testing’s, reporting back to head office. Reports must
- Control installation of materials and equipment to ensure compliance with drawings and
- Stock Control experience
- Arrange for lightning protection design (SABS approved) to be prepared by Drawing Office,
- • Effective planning of teams, ensuring efficient use of Team’s time (to be fully productive)
- • Quality control of the physical works and installations’ on site (Inspections, report back to
- • Attending site meetings as required and ensuring XX is represented in a professional
- • Conducting AMT’s, Inspections and testing’s, reporting back to head office. Reports must
- • Conducting soil resistivity surveys and reporting details back to head office.
- • Control installation of materials and equipment to ensure compliance with drawings and
- • On site supervision on various larger projects as required. This may require you to stay
- • Stock control – stock checks and strict control of materials, checking & control of delivered
- • Vehicle control, ensuring vehicles are kept in a neat, well maintained manner by all drivers.
- • Control and maintenance of tools.
- • Administration and paperwork, relating to your position and related duties. All paperwork
- • Supervision of site staff – ensuring full utilisation and productivity. Checking worksheets:
- • Ensure compliance with all requirements on site regarding health, safety and environmental
- • Report all incidents which have, or could result, in personal injury or environmental damage,
- • Safety aspects as may be required from time to time.
- • Adhere to the Company's dress code on site, including safety clothing and equipment as
- • You are to perform any function required of you, provided you are physically capable of
- • Once accepting a new contract, check price, material costing, timing, drawings, etc, and
- • Ensure site instructions are received for any extra work required on site prior to work being
- • Arrange for lightning protection design (SABS approved) to be prepared by Drawing Office,
- • Complete invoice and test certificate and as soon as job has been completed. Alternatively,
- • Visit clients regularly to obtain new work.
- • Arrange morning meetings to discuss progress and problems on site with staff.
- • Ensure that site staff have been issued with correct safety equipment and that it is worn on
- • Living out allowance - All monies advanced to you or your staff for living out must be
- • If you are authorised to carry an Autocard for petrol and oil only, this should be used solely
- • Similarly, purchases made on public holidays and during annual leave entitlement are for
- • Advise Accounts Department of any misuse or lost tools. Deduction of performance, van
- • Ensure that all paperwork and correspondence is up-to-date and submitted to Head office
- • Job/Enquiry Activity sheet to be submitted to Head Office at the end of every month.
- • Turnover figures to be submitted to Head Office on the 15th of every month.
- • Report all maintenance requirements of Company premises
- • Responsible to Management and all other matters regarding the smooth and efficient
- • You are to perform any function required of you, provided you are physically capable
