Our client is seeking a meticulous Logistics Admin Support to join their team in Howick.Responsibilities:Dispatch Responsibilities
- Print pick tickets, pick orders, and assist with invoicing and booking transporters
- Plan trip sheets and ensure that all filing (Proof of Deliveries and records) is accurate and up to date
- Ensure that stock is palletised and labelled correctly to avoid damage
- Confirm that all orders undergo quality checks before dispatch
- Provide support for stock control and replenishments as needed
- Assist in ensuring the fleet is maintained and kept roadworthy
- Route planning for internal deliveries
- Ensure the trip schedule is updated daily
- Make sure to complete the documentation while filling out the vehicle checklist
- Tracking of vehicles
- Ensure drivers have a valid licence
- Provide transport support to the procurement department and other departments as needed
- Assist the finance team with stock-related inquiries and the sales team with delivery orders
- Maintain effective communication and foster strong interpersonal relationship
- Matric with Mathematics and English
- Any degree/diploma that can reflect studies supporting administration
- An understanding of the logistics environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- 1-3 Years of experience with MS (Excel, Word and Outlook)
- 1-3 Years of experience and a good understanding of the logistics environment
- A valid unendorsed code 8 driver’s license, and own transport will be advantageous
- Demonstrated strong administration skills
- Warehouse working awareness, understanding the process and identifying/targeting opportunities would be advantageous
- Customer service experience
