As a Cost Accountant, you will be responsible for the following:
Prepare cost estimates and quotes for new products, customers and product changes
Update BOMs as required
Assist with conducting stock counts
Input cost estimates and quotes on the system
Manage product costing and tooling inventory reporting
Ensure accurate comparisons between actual costs and estimates while analyzing variances
Maintain accurate records for both new and existing product costings
Support with reconciliations and schedules
Oversee inventory management and product maintenance
Continuously gather and provide audit informationSkills & Experience:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in costing
Fluent in English and Afrikaans
Experience in ERP systemsQualification:
Completed Finance degree or diploma
