We're looking for a dedicated Estimator to join our Durban team. Youll play a key role in managing tender processes and resource planning within our Ship Repair Department.What Youll Be DoingYour responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):Reviewing and interpreting client specifications, terms, and conditions for ship repair tendersPreparing accurate and competitive tender and supporting documentationEstimating labour, materials, and resource requirementsConducting on-board ship inspectionsFollowing up on quotations and handling client feedbackPerforming general administrative support as neededWhat Youll Need to SucceedQualification in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical Engineering, or Marine EngineeringExperience in a ship repair environment (advantageous)Solid knowledge of TNPA facilities, procedures, and ratesProficiency in REFMAN is essentialExcellent Excel/Spreadsheet skillsAbility to work independently and under tight deadlines
