A leading logistics company is looking for an RFQ Administrator to join their team in Pietermaritzburg. The company is a well-established provider of abnormal road transport solutions, offering services to the mining, construction, project cargo, and agricultural sectors. They are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to manage the end-to-end Request for Quotation (RFQ) process, ensuring efficient communication and timely responses to client inquiries.Responsibilities:Receive, review, and process RFQs from clientsCoordinate with internal teams (operations, finance, and marketing) to gather information for accurate quotationsPrepare and submit competitive quotations within agreed timelinesAct as the primary contact for RFQ-related client communicationsProvide excellent customer service and follow up on submitted quotesMaintain an up-to-date database of RFQs, quotations, and client interactionsTrack and report on RFQ success and conversion ratesEnsure all quotations comply with company policies, pricing structures, and regulationsVerify costs, timelines, and service details for accuracyCollaborate with sales, operations, and finance teams to ensure alignment in service deliverySupport logistics in identifying cost-saving opportunitiesPropose and implement improvements to the RFQ processStay informed about industry trends, competitor pricing, and market conditionsRequirements:Matric (Grade 12) requiredDiploma or degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Finance, or related field is advantageous2-3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in logistics or transportKnowledge of abnormal transport operations, permits, and load configurations is advantageousProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteStrong numerical and analytical abilitiesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environmentHigh attention to detail and accuracyStrong customer service orientationGood problem-solving and time management skillsAbility to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholdersBenefits:
