This is your opportunity to work in a high-standard operational environment where your expertise in air-conditioning, refrigeration, and ventilation makes a real impact.Recruitment partner: Edge Executive Search.About the RoleAs the HVAC Artisan, you'll be responsible for performing scheduled, preventative, and emergency maintenance on HVAC and water reticulation systems. You’ll ensure quality compliance, quick fault resolution, and consistent operational uptime — all while working in a regulated, service-driven environment.What You’ll Own
- Maintenance and inspection of air-conditioning, refrigeration, ventilation, and water systems
- Emergency fault-finding and rectification with time-sensitive turnaround
- Installation and commissioning of HVAC equipment
- Reporting risks, safety concerns, and site issues proactively
- Ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and job specifications
- Continuous communication with supervisors and stakeholders on job progress
- Matric (Senior Certificate)
- N3 – N6 in Mechanical Engineering
- Trade Test in HVAC (Air-conditioning & Refrigeration)
- 5+ years’ hands-on HVAC experience post-trade
- Working knowledge of water reticulation systems and digital controls
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook
- Strong knowledge of the OHS Act and safety standards
- Valid SA driver’s license
- Equipment operates reliably, safely, and efficiently
- Downtime is minimised through proactive maintenance
- All work completed on time, to spec, and in full compliance
- Effective team communication and task follow-through
