Job Description:We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Financial Accountant to manage our company’s accounting, reporting, and compliance functions. The role involves preparing accurate financial statements, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, and providing insights that support effective decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent knowledge of accounting principles, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer.Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, examine, and analyse financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, IFRS and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
  • Reconcile accounts, monitor general ledger entries, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed asset accounting processes.
  • Assisting with Treasury functions, foreign exposures to minimise forex risk.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Ensure timely submission of tax filings and regulatory reports.
  • Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to management for strategic decision-making.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Proven experience as a Financial Accountant with 7 years or more
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics BC 365, Sage Accounting, or similar) and advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
